Meet Julie,

CO-FOUNDER

PRODUCT & PARTNERSHIP

Julie is French, from Paris. Studying Literature and Philosohpy, she developed an interest for the mechanisms leading to discrimination and extreme violence. She soon decided to use her skills to make a difference on ground.

After several small development projects in France, Cambodia and Colombia, she left for Mumbai, in February 2017, to work for a local anti-trafficking organization. Learning from survivors, she has been focusing her work eversince on creating environments for people to thrive and show their potential.

Julie completed a Master in Political Philosophy and Ethics from Paris Sorbonne University. She is trained in field research and certified in Design Thinking by IDEO.

She & Net met while pursuing their MSc in Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship at LSE.

Meet Tanaka,

UK TRAINING LEAD

Tanaka Mhishi is a writer, performer and storyteller. His works with issues surrounding masculinity and trauma have been produced on screen for BBC 3 and on stages nationwide, including This Is How It Happens, a play about male survivors of sexual violence and the Off West End Award nominated Boys Don’t which he co-wrote and performed in in partnership with Papertale Productions and Half Moon Theatre. 

He a trustee for SurvivorsUK, a charity supporting male and non-binary survivors of sexual violence in London and across the UK. Tanaka works with media organisations, charities and universities on how to have tough conversations surrounding race, sexual violence, masculinity and consent.

Meet Net,

CO-FOUNDER

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

A Thai native, Net started off her career working in Singapore in the big old boys’ club: advertising. Don’t get her wrong, she loved her job. She just didn’t love marketing things that didn’t mean anything to her.

After founding the CSR initiative for her company, she quickly realized there was a soft spot where passion can actually meet profession. So she decided to switch gears. Fast.

Net completed her Bachelor’s degree from NYU where she was part of the Feminist Club. In Singapore, Net was also part of AWARE, Singapore’s leading gender equality advocacy group. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for B Lab UK and won the UN Women Youth Leadership Award.

She & Julie met while pursuing their MSc in Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship at LSE.
